Winemaker Tasting Notes:  Triassic Rocks is our yearly flirtation between Syrah and Zinfandel. The color is wicked, and nose follows suit: sporting aromas of black cherry, blackberry, cooked blueberries, cured meat, black pepper and a kiss of oaky notes. The wine drinks full-bodied and beautiful, rich dark fruits swirl around the palate with a nice savory meatiness, fine-grained tannins and a long elegant finish.
