Winemaker Tasting Notes:  This wine was specially aged in French oak barrels.  Aromas of candied Bing cherries and raspberries.  Wet forest floor, peat moss, and ripe plums following into palate flavors of fresh blueberry and raspberry, star anise, crushed strawberries and tart cherries.  A lively acid balance on the finish drives this silky and decadent wine to the finish line.  Ready to enjoy now, or cellar up to 2-3 years.
