Winemaker Tasting Notes: Always a favorite...our 2019 vintage is a bold full-bodied blend of Syrah and Zinfandel. The nose is intoxicating and all about richness: cooked cherries, blackberry jam, freshly baked blueberry pie, vanilla shortbread, wet forest floor, cured meat and black peppercorns. The palate is silky and soft with ripe red and black fruit flavors and a bright burst of acid that carries the wine to a long finish of violets, wet rocks, cloves, tobacco and anise. Ready to enjoy now, or cellar up to 2-3 years.
