Winemaker Tasting Notes: Showing off yet another variation of our esteemed Estate Viognier, our Lot #2 brings a little sweetness to the party. This semi-sweet Viognier sports a hue of wet hay and shows the sweeter side of the fruit spectrum: Muscat grape, dried mango, candied mandarin orange peel, pineapple syrup, fresh white flowers and seared pears. The palate is immediately coated with a viscous layer of creamy tropical fruit, Meyer lemon, canned peaches and just enough sweetness to let you know it’s there without taking over. Serve well chilled now or within 1-2 years.
